Fernandough’s first mixtape OJ Simpson,which was released in November 2011, has been well received in the hometown of Buffalo, and around the US, being remixed by Chop Star DJ Slim K of Houston, TX with a chopped and screwed version of the project. Singles “Purple Heart”, which has a video for it, “Shooter McGavin” and “Red Light District” are fan favorites.
Michael Jay Hott just released his solo project Left Field in early September 2012, which features singles “All I Do” and “Pieces.”
Needo Stakkz will release his debut project Blood on My Hands soon, with singles “Murda 1” “The Ghost of Frank White” and “Bossed Up” driving his dream.
This latest visual is the first group single and video release from the team, off of the upcoming project entitled “The Face of the North 2,” which is slated for release at the top of 2012 and will feature other Buffalo artists, along with some talented folks outside of the Queen City.
“High Beams” features Buffalo songbird, Go Gev and was shot in the Queen City this past September by Robert Gallardo from St. Petersburg, who has an extensive catalogue to boot.
This video is dedicated to Demone L. McDougald who’s dream was deferred, SOS member Needo Stakkz was unable to make the video shoot during its recording, and the vision of Kenzo was captured by Florida director and creator Robert Gallardo of St. Petersburg.
