Naaman Roosevelt of the Buffalo Bills & The Sports Academy presents the 1st Annual SUMMER CLASSIC [7.7.12]

My good business colleague back home Lindsey Taylor sent some good information about another sports tournament he’s got his hands in. The Sports Academy Youth Sports & Leadership Program and Buffalo Bills & Buffalo native Naaman Roosevelt is bringing a very entertaining and star studded charity basketball event to the local area.

Saturday July 7th, 2012 will host the 1st Annual “ SUMMER CLASSIC “ which will feature stars and players from the NFL,  NBA/Professional basketball ranks and more to host a 5 on 5 star-studded basketball game. This event will take place at Sweet Home High School (1901 Sweet Home Rd , Amherst NY) from 2pm-5pm.

The event will also feature a Youth Basketball Elite Classic showcasing the best upcoming young players from Buffalo and Rochester going head to head. Both cities will have their elite players from grades 5th-10th matching up to see which city can hold the bragging rights of who has the best upcoming basketball talent. This event will truly be entertaining for the youth and local community as The Sports Academy & Naaman Roosevelt have been working together for the past few years to impact the Buffalo & WNY community in a positive way. All community centers, community members youth sports teams & programs, church groups & more are welcome to be a part of the Summer Classic as this looks to be a staple event for the 4th of July Weekend for years to come!
