Pittsburgh artist Mario Dones has been working on wrapping up his debut album, Black Watermelon, but he wanted to give us something special in the meantime. In the words of Dones himself, “10 Summers is really just the result of everything lining up at the right time. I grew up around DJ’s all my life, so my idea of a mixtape is very particular. I just wanted the listener to be able to go to that same place, especially getting ready for the album. That’s the time and place my music comes from.
