Dirty Logan: Dough Van Gogh – Round 2 [EP]

“Make it Dirty, yeah baby make it dirty. Aunt Rosie’s Loganberry make it dirty.” – Dough Van Gogh on the introductory hook on “Lights On” off of the player 2-song EP, Round 2.

After getting you right with the Days of Rest EP in late September, Dirty Logan Dough ain’t taking it easy on y’all in this 4th quarter.

2 tracks. 2 bangers. Lights On and Pretty Brown. “Lights On” is upbeat, and groovy. On the track “Pretty Brown” Dough slows it down real smooth as he describes his affinity for a local Buffalo Baddie who stands out in the town.

Drinking Partners Episode #211 feat. Thomas Agnew & DS Kinsel of Boom Concepts [Podcast]

Insightful, funny and raw. That just about sums up Episode #211 (like the malt liquor), of Drinking Partners Podcast, who sits down with my boy Thomas Agnew and his business partner DS Kinsel of the multipurpose creative space Boom Concepts in Pittsburgh, PA.

The guys cover everything from music, culture, influence, and more. The laughs were endless and the knowledge and experiences shared were very in-depth. It’s great to see the evolution of Thomas’ journey in entrepreneurship in the Steel city.

If you ever attended an event at Shadow Lounge with JENESIS Magazine then you’ll understand why this new fundraiser for Boom Concepts is so important.

DeuceEllis Releases Lead Single “Acid Motorcycle” via Choon HQ [SINGLE]

Deuce Ellis has already made a fan out of Grammy-winner Alicia Keys. A fan of his lyrics, Keys is one of the many who adores what Deuce does with his hip-hop meets Motown meets all-around great sound. A sound that can soon be heard on his upcoming collaborative release  with Sanity titled Murder of Crows, and within the confines of his solo lead single, “Acid Motorcycle.”

An artist and producer, Deuce Ellis has toured across the country performing music and poetry independently. Selling thousands of copies of his albums and his book BLVCK XMAS, along the way. His now infamous “Cult Classics” merchandise line can be seen everywhere from independent films like the award-winning  The Dunning Man to the video for the Joey Badass and Kirk Knight collaboration “5 Minutes.” All of the above and then some has led to Deuce being featured on 2 Dope Boyz, All Hip Hop and SOHH.

After spending a year in Hawaii and then in L.A. redefining himself and sound, Deuce is currently residing in Brooklyn and looking to take his career to new heights. A new sound that comes on the collaborative Murder of Crows and the solo single, “Acid Motorcycle.” Both of which will drop before the end of 2018. The album release will be followed by the official Acid Motorcycle Tour. Just when one thought that was enough to have on Deuce’s plate, he also has a new label and studio being constructed, as well as executive producing the label project Cult Classics Vol. 1 coming this winter.
