What is up Flagrant City Fam? Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Charlotte but you can call me Lotti aka the Mad Princess. I come to you all from the East Coast, starting in New York and making my way through the South until I finally ventured out to California. My mother’s love of traveling when I was younger has stuck with me, and is probably the reason why I moved to LA. There’s so much to do in this city! In addition to a variety of experiences, LA also hosts an assortment of flavors and ideas making their way into the world every day. But a lot of happening scenes can get lost in the flood of social media. So it’s my hope that I can bring you all some great events where you can experience amazing art and better company. I hope you’ll join me as I assist Lowe down the path less traveled, and when you’re not listening to our fire tunes be sure to check out my blog!
Surprise new album from Flagrant City favorite, Deuce Ellis, was released yesterday, on Thanksgiving, where Deuce announced his new self-produced album “An Electric Ride” by rolling out what he calls an open source instrumental project entitled “Experiments in Electricity” where production for the entire concept began late August 2015, right after his girlfriend and creative partner Jenna’s bday, months before the couple would move to Hawaii.
An Electric Ride is a concept album telling the stories of passengers on a funky intergalactic train traveling the cosmos to arrive at the final destination in the Universe’s most exciting city “Electric City.”
Deuce drew inspiration for the project from the work and ideas of Nicola Telsa and Joseph Campbell’s “Hero With A Thousand Faces” which also inspired George Lucas’ “Star Wars”. The Cult leader collaborated with Jenna’s design firm TeethRatedR for the art direction of the project.
With Experiments in Electricity Deuce aims to begin to paint the sonic picture to the world he’s creating, while also inviting other MCs & artists to share and contribute their own unique visions.”

Hailed as one of the most talented and versatile Hip-Hop artists in today’s rap game, Buffalo- born and Brooklyn-raised rap juggernaut Deuce Ellis is thrilled to release his brand new music video, “Color The Walls” (produced by Lo Double T). The video was shot in Brooklyn, NY, directed by filmmaker A.M. Fine.
“My single ‘Color The Walls’ is a tribute and homage to Hip-Hop, Punk, Rock, and Graffiti — they all emerged from the same time and place and from the same angst,” Deuce Ellis explained.
“Color The Walls” is featured on Deuce’s highly anticipated and media praised forthcoming release, “Spread”, which will be available on June 25, 2013. The project’s lead single, “Stocky”, received major feedback throughout the East Coast and “Color The Walls” is sure to follow in the same lane.

Time to commit to the madness and pick your poison. Weed Armageddon is here, AGAIN. This is the 4th installment in our annual series for the stoners, but we never leave out the drankers on this coveted holiday.
